1. Geoffrey de Geneville -

Geoffrey - When the last male de Lacy died about 1240, the family estates were divided between his two daughters. Ludlow Castle eventually came into the possession of Geoffrey de Geneville, a French baron from Champagne who was a distant relative of Eleanor, queen to Edward I. Geoffrey spent most of his time in Ireland and in 1283 he gave his lands at Ludlow to his son Peter.

2. Peter de Geneville - He is the son of Geoffrey de Geneville.

i.  Joan de Geneville was born on 2 Feb 1285/1286 in Ludlow, Shropshire, England and died on 19 Oct 1356 .
Joan married Roger de Mortimer before 6 Oct 1306 in Shropshire, England. Roger was born on 3 May 1287 in Netherwood, Thornbury, Herefordshire, England. He was the son of Sir Edmund de Mortimer and Margaret de Fiennes. He died on 29 Nov 1330 in Elms, Tyburn, Warwickshire, England .
